At the World Dog Show there will be pre-qualifying rounds for Junior Handlers (aged 10 to 17 years) during the mornings of Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th. The semifinal and final for the title of 2020 WORLD WINNER IN JUNIOR HANDLING will take place in the ring of honour during the afternoon of Sunday 26th.
The handlers participating on behalf of the kennel clubs of the different FCI countries are automatically qualified for the final and cannot participate in the pre-qualifying rounds of days 24th, 25th and 26th. To be allowed to participate representing a kennel club, all the handlers must be authorized to do so. Only one representative per kennel club and country is admitted and there is no fee to participate.
All the Junior Handlers between 10 and 17 years of age who wish to participate can sign-up.The price of the entry for each competition is 20€ / day. If one of the participants manages to be qualified among the three finalists in any of the rounds, he/she will no longer be allowed to participate in the rest and will go on straight to the semifinal on Sunday, losing the right of reimbursement of the money that has been paid for the rest of the days.
In addition, the competition for the title of 2020 WINNER IN JUNIOR HANDLING IN THE RSCE WINNER SHOW, will be on Thursday 23rd of April, at the CAC – CACIB RSCE Winner 2020 Show. The price of the entry for each competition is 20€ .
The dogs for Junior Handling must be entered for an individual participation in the World Dog Show or in the Winner Show. The registration deadline ends on 16th March 2020.
These rules may change in the future as a consequence of modifications in FCI regulations.
